Simple Test For A Bad Battery
Fully charge your battery pack. Then do a run up a hill to remove the top voltage off the pack. Then test each battery with your multimeter. They should be close to their voltage. A 6 volt battery should be close to or above 6 volts. If it is in the 5 volt range or lower you probably have a bad cell, so have them tested professionally. If possible you can test that battery under a load (going up a hill), and watch it's voltage. A bad battery will rapidly lose voltage.
